The answer is simple: YES YOU CAN. Piece of cake….however, learn from my experience.

While you can swap it out virtually without even changing the posts / sleeves, you should know this: as of this writting, there are apparently 3 different block heights on Schaller Floyd Rose trem: 32, 37 & 42mm. If you have an S series Ibanez, make sure you get either the 37 or the 32mm block tremolo version. I will post more specific information on the original cavity depth & the different Schaller options later on. For now, here are some photos of my baby with a new Schaller full-floating tremolo.
